City of Medford 2040 Vision

Jensen Strategies led a comprehensive community visioning process to develop a preferred 20-year vision and action plan for Medford, Oregon.  The process included a City Council appointed citizen Task Force charged with recommending a preferred vision and an action plan to implement it.  A parallel, but integrated, multi-faceted public input process informed the Task Force’s work to develop the projects.  Jensen Strategies managed the project including facilitating the Task Force and working in collaboration with public involvement and community development subconsultants.  

The outcome of this project was a community vision and action plan based on community input with a tangible framework and actions to implement it.  The plan is comprised of a vision statement with five focus areas including: fostering economic growth and resiliency; enhancing hometown; connecting community; fostering safety & wellness; and promoting recreational opportunity.  The action plan includes 29 strategies and 85 actions with 22 community organizations committed to implementing it.
